Throughout 2013, Microgaming has gradually increased its portfolio of multi-player games. These games are now available in tournament mode on a regular basis and some of the very latest games to arrive on this Multi-Player / Tournament platform have included Lucky Witch and Santa’s Wild Ride. This latest one has arrived just in time for the festive period.

It all started back in January (January 4th, 2013 to be precise) when Microgaming added a fun-filled horse racing themed slot called Sure Win onto its multiplayer platform, “We are constantly developing our multi-player product to ensure we deliver the highest quality and most diverse game offering in the industry,” said Microgaming’s spokesperson for Multi-Player Games, David Reynolds.

He then added, “In December we added Deck the Halls online slot game to the tournament portfolio and this proved extremely popular with players. We are confident that Sure Win will be just as popular, providing the finest and most dynamic experience to tournament players.”

Microgaming then went on to increase its multi-player platform even further when it introduced a slot called Immortal Romance, which became available just in time for Valentine’s Day. Players can now regular play on this slot in the tournament mode and it is usually connected to the Monthly Monster Tournament at most Microgaming powered casinos.

Just a few weeks later, in March, Agent Jane Blonde found its way onto this impressive platform, “Over the past few months we have enhanced our multi-player offering considerably, adding a number of hit slot titles to the multi-player platform…” added Reynolds …“beyond the release of our Agent Jane Blonde tournament slot, we have an abundance of exciting tournament events and multi-player content in the pipeline for 2013, which will enable our operators to utilise the full breadth of our product portfolio.”

The next slot to arrive on this platform (in May) was Gold Factory. Players could now play on this game in events such as the Midweek Moolah tourney which usually has a guaranteed USD 10,000 prize pool up for grabs. This prize pool for this tourney is generally shared among 20 players. The next Multi-Player slots to arrive in the summer included both Leagues of Fortune and Karate Pig, and then in October, Lucky Witch became available.

“This is a timely addition to our multi-player platform. With Halloween just around the corner, our operators’ players will enjoy this new tournament slot. Furthermore, our new bonus prize feature adds to the extensive flexibility of tournament setup for operators. This will provide an ideal tool for the acquisition and retention of players,” said Reynolds.

Then as recently as November 28th 2013, Microgaming announced that it planned to increase its Multi-Player portfolio by introducing a slot called Santa’s Wild Ride. Another spokesperson for Microgaming’s Multi-Player Games, James Ford, said “December is an exciting month for our operators on the multi-player platform; we’re embracing the holiday season to the fullest with a new game and a gigantic network tournament.

The $100,000 prize pool combined with an appropriate seasonal game, Deck the Halls, gives our operators a fantastic marketing tool for the festive period.” All of the comments found in this article were extracted directly from the Microgaming website, were you can read the entire comments in full.
